Where are the best places to look for online affiliate marketers?
Currently working for a company in Birmingham developing their sales strategy.
I’m considering routes to market for a fantastic software product that’s got some great clients already, but needs to find a larger-scale way of finding new customers.
It’s a software-as-a-service product which I think could work well for affiliate online marketing. But I’ve never used this approach myself before, does anyone have any tips for appointing affiliate marketers, any directories they can recommend, people they’ve used successfully before etc.?

As an affiliate manager I can tell you that there are many ways to find affiliates.
First of all you must target your research to affiliates that deal with the products you are trying to promote.
Once you have targeted your niche you can do:
1. Web intelligence: You can use several tools as whois.com or aboutus.com to find the owner of the affiliate site
2. Massive Recruitment: You can go to different forums and promote your affiliate program. (READ the rules of each forums they might ban you if you don’t follow them)
To recruit affiliates you need to have an organized system that will track, aid’s, orders, click’s and all the stats that you will need to clarify the affiliates status.
If your company has an online store they surely have a tracking system, you should ask.
Is making money online from affiliate programs difficult. Anybody be able to supply an answer. ?
I had been online makreting many affiliate programs, using articles and classified ads too. I just would like to seek a solution for answer.

As an online merchant looking to use affiliate marketing networks, do you get to choose your channel?
I am researching online affiliate marketing. Say I am looking to sell something online. Let’s also say I want to leverage affiliate marketing networks to advertise my product. As the merchant, is it common to have the ability to choose which type of advertising channel you are marketed to or is it more like a shotgun blast across the internet?
Or is it the other way around… do the affiliates choose what is eventually advertised by their site?

Requirements to be an Affiliate Marketer online in the UK?
Do i have to be vat registered to become an Affiliate Marketer online in the UK? If yes, is it still necessary to do so before earning any money?
Can I collect unemployment legally if I get money from online affiliate programs? It’s not a wage.?
I make some money from online affiliate programs, but I am not unemployed. I am facing a layoff in the coming months, so I just want to know how to start preparing financially, and if I can legally collect unemployment or not.

If you make under 600 a year in these programs, it does not have to be reported as income, and therefore doesn’t count against unemployment
