Avon Representative's Can Increase Their Selling (and Profit's) This Christmas!
Author: Tracey Edwards
There is something about the holiday season that brings out the shopper in all of us. We have the house to decorate, gifts to buy our loved ones, and friends to catch up with. All in all, the holidays are a pretty magical time.
Or are they? In reality it’s more likely that we’ve got to clean up the house in time for visitors, tackle the crowds at the mall, and make sure that everyone is entertained. Phew! No wonder it can be stressful.
So if you are an Avon Representative (and why else would you be reading this article!), this Christmas it’s your job to make things less stressful for your customers and your reward will be lovely big orders and plenty of profits for you.
Start by sending your customers a Christmas or Holiday card to thank them for being such lovely customers. The earlier that you can get this card out the better - late October/early November is ideal. This makes them feel special that you are thinking of them during this busy time.
When you next visit your customers, add some little extra’s to help them organize their lives such as a gift idea’s list. A holiday calendar planner is also a great addition to help your customers, especially if you add a magnet to the back so that they can place it on the fridge.
Always offer free gift wrapping. You can get some nice cellophane or paper at cheap dollar stores and also some lovely ribbons very inexpensively as well.
For those customers that can’t decide, why not offer to make a gift basket for them. They can choose the amount they’d like to spend and a theme, such as bath & body, or feet treats, and you can fill the basket with lovely goodies that you think would love.
Gift baskets are also a great idea for your male customers. They usually don’t know what to buy the ladies in their lives and offering a gift basket all wrapped and decorated for them makes things easy for them, and their partner will love it!
Want to reward your best customers? Give them a little gift to say thank-you. Choose something that costs you little but has a high perceived value and your customers will be thrilled!
Little touches like these can help build your business and gain lots of repeat customers because you are going that extra mile for them.

avon selling??
Has anyone tried selling avon products? Im kinda interested because im a stay at home mom and I would like to make some extra cash, but i don’t wanna get in over my head. How much do the books cost? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I’m an Avon rep and I love it. I work and have a family AND I sell Avon. If you want to make money you need to work and whether it is selling Avon or working in a dept store or fast food place you still have to put in the time. What you need to decide is if this is something you would enjoy. One nice thing is you can work when its convenient to you around your family.
How Avon works is you sell the product to family, friends etc. Avon bills you the discounted price. You collect the full price from your customers and the difference between the 2 is your paycheck. I dont’ find the ordering and delivering that time consuming but you do need to find customers. You don’t want to depend on your family and friends but they are a great place to start. You definately need to expand beyond them. You can ask them to share your brochures with their family, friends, and coworkers. Talk to the people you come into contact with every day….coworkers, mom’s at the bus stop, neighbors, the people at the local deli where you get your coffee in the morning, the tellers where you do your banking etc etc. They call it the power of 3. Talk to 3 people a day about Avon. Collect a 100 no’s in 30 days….chances are good you’ll get more yes’s than no’s.
For your first campaign you will earn 50% commission when you place your order online. For your Second, Third, and Fourth campaigns, you will earn 50% commission provided your orders are greater than $50, and you place your orders online. After your first four campaigns, the commission structure is as follows:
Order Size Earnings
$1550 or more 50%
$900 – $1549 45%
$425 – $899 40%
$285 – $424 35%
$145 – $284 30%
$25 – $144 20%
$00 – $24 0%
Licensed products are earned at 20% commission.
You do have to purchase the brochures. That is the only thing you really need to sell Avon. The more you buy the less they cost:
1 10 brochures $.575 $5.75
2 20 brochures $.398 $7.95
3 30 brochures $.34 $10.20
4 40 brochures $.303 $12.10
5 50 brochures $.26 $13.00
6 60 brochures $.238 $14.25
7 70 brochures $.221 $15.45
8 80 brochures $.209 $16.75
9 90 brochures $.199 $17.90
10 100 brochures $.19 $19.00
11 or more packs: $19.00 (for first 10 packs)
+ $1.30 for each additional pack
Avon has quality, affordable, consumable products and something for everyone.
I have more Avon Faq’s and info on my profile. Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have.

How much money would you probably get selling avon products and how old do you have to be to sell them?

I live in Australia and I absolutely love Avon make up and I was wondering how much money I were to make if I started selling ‘Avon’ products? Also do you have to be 18 or over?
I’m wondering, I’m moving to Gold Coast, Queensland when I am 18 or 19 with my best friend.
I am planning on being a bartender but was wondering if maybe selling Avon would be better, or selling Avon on the side. Can you please let me know? Thanks!
I don’t live in Australia, so I’m not sure what the age requirement is over there. I’m fairly certain you can sell it once you’re 18, though. As far as profits go, you really have to have at least a few customers or else it’s not worth it. I’d do it on the side, in addition to whatever steady job you end up getting. Don’t plan on supporting yourself with Avon, even if it ends up being a great second income. But I say it’s worth a try, because it might go really well for you
How does one get started with selling Avon products in Singapore?
I am from Singapore and there’s no Avon rep office here. Been using the products on and off, they are pretty good! So am looking at trying my hand at selling them.
I have tried the Avon USA website but there is no information. Also sent an email to Avon in Australia. Hope there’ll be a reply.
Maybe you can contact other Avon offices from Australia etc. and ask if its possible for you to become a rep there. You could even begin the Avon chain there in Singapore
What are some good ways to increase my AVON selling?
I sell AVON and I was wondering how to increase my sales?
Unlike Craig I believe it is a fair question….
Sales is a number game…. You need to increase your presence. Never be fearful to make your own leads and network, network, network. Wear and use your product so if you get a compliment…sell it to them.
How does the commission structure work when selling avon?
My spouse is thinking of selling Avon to bring in more money. We like Avon’s reputation and their products but are uncertain if it will pay well enough to get that savings account growing again. I cannot find the information on the Avon website, so if anyone has a link to that info I’ll be grateful for that as well. Thanks.
