Marketing: The Internet Has Become A Gold Mine For All Marketing Firms
By Robert Michael
If the world of infrastructure is a block of granite, marketing is a fluid running through its small chasms. Marketing is a force like gas, a prevalent and very active thing that is difficult to pin down and observe. It is one of the abstracted forms arising from a post-modern way of life, and it shows no signs of slowing down.
It makes sense that marketing in its never-ending search for new forms has branched onto the web. The internet and the screen of the personal computer are lucrative fields for new advertising campaigns. Much of consumer activity has moved onto the web, and so marketing is keeping up with trends by moving its own strategies to a web-based format.
The most familiar ways that marketing firms do this is by the use of devices such as ad banners or pop ups that bring ad copy directly into the view of the user. These are time-tested marketing strategies that work: users click through on ad banners and generate revenue for the creators, improving the status of the company or product. There are also the 'cookies' that companies hide in a user's hard drive. Devices such as cookies provide critical data about a consumer; they allow marketing individuals to create campaigns based on established facts, and they allow researchers to track the web activities of consumers.
Besides these marketing tools, software makers have given marketers different programs to better their commerce. Some of these are available online for a firm eager to improve its web image. One such program is the VIPCART: this package allows marketers to create a 'shopping cart' that shoppers use online to collect product which they can purchase with their credit cards. Though online shopping is hazardous due to credit fraud, many people still shop online.
Marketers can also make use of a package entitled SEO DETECTIVE that lets users compare data on different web sites to get a picture of who is running a particular online industry. The best web sites generate the best sales, and tabulation software such as the detective programs allow individuals to concretely assess who has the best web sites.
Then there are a host of other programs dealing with innovations like keyword-driven sales that also analyze web response from consumers. All of these tools try to direct customers to a product by reacting to feedback through the transparent channels of the web. Keyword-driven sales is one way to get the attention of clients, and in-depth work with search engines can benefit a company's prominence greatly.
By and large, conventional marketing will not go away, but the web will become a bigger and bigger arena for marketing in the future as marketers try to get the most out of online sales.

What does it mean to become an affiliate of a website or product?

How do you become an affiliate of a site and start making money?
I am interested in starting several blogs and becoming and affiliate of relevant sites!! Any advice?
What exactly do you want to promote is the question you should be asking yourself. That is the start in deciding which affiliate programs you should be looking at.
Once you’ve decided what market you want to promote for, its time to do research. Research is very important when picking out affiliate programs your going to be apart of because as there are many legit affiliate programs out on the web, there are spam and fraud programs as well. Look into the program before signing up for anything.
*ADVICE! Most affiliate programs are free to join and does not ask for your credit card to join. Those are definitely SCAMS so be aware!
Affiliate marketing has a huge web community that can give you pointers on how to market merchandisers products, what needs to be done and what you need to learn to do it correctly to make the money.
There are also sites that bring the affiliate programs to you. you pick and choose from that site and start marketing. But these sites take a bit of our commission since they provided you with the information about the program. But listed affiliate programs on these sites are legit.
Some sites that can help you is WarriorForum, Shareasale etc. Check these out and google them. Google search affiliate program directories and you would get a list of sources. Good luck!

Does anyone know what is the best training to become a good PPC affiliate marketer?
Does anyone know what is the best training to become a good affiliate marketer with the use of a pay per click engine like Google Adwords?
There are tons of guides out there introducing adwords, sorry them kind of become a blur to me, it’s worth viewing at least one over the shoulder tutorial video package, to ge a feel for the flow, you can probably find something at clickbank in the $20 range, though googles online educational material is extensive and will teach you all of the mechanics.
If you were investing in a single package, get something that encompasses a broader range including adwords, perhaps a general affiliate marketing package, or looking a step further, a CPA marketing package, which will often touch on PPC as one if several promotion techniques. The CPA packages tend to be pricey though, because that that way the big money hunters go.
Perry Marshal has a ton of training material out there, his definitive Adwords guide should be OK, he has a 3 level pricing arrangement starting at $49, which is something new for this sort of product, (beats back-selling the advanced version) might pay off if you need an adwords voucher.
After writing the comments, I checked, THE 2 BELOW APPEAR TO HAVE RECENTLY GONE INACTIVE, sorry about that.
One adword specific package I found useful crackingtheadwordscode.com priced at $39.95 seems to have a broken neglected cart link. Guess I and 2 year old packages are out of touch.
I found Affiliate Blueprint to be one of the most practical nuts and bolts guides with 4 1/2 hours of material showing in detail his exact day to day PPC routine, he made extensive use of spreadsheets for tracking, it was produced in 2008, if made today it would probably just add emphasis to google’s quality rating system, unfortunately has been recently pulled off the market to clear the way for the more costly Affiliate Blueprint II which is really a complimentary product, relying entirely on SEO traffic instead of PPC. While version 1 sold last for $97, version 2 is more like $397. Perhaps you can find someone with version 1.
