I need a lot of knowledge on this one, it would be great to hear your success stories, I want to learn the steps on becoming a successful affiliate marketer, I know its hard, a well thought out good piece of advice is really what I need, any tips?

How the hell do you make money from affiliate marketing?
How do people make money from home doing affiliate marketing? How do they find out what products they can sell for someone else? How do they generate web traffic? How hard is all of this? Is a home-based business only meant for a very few select group of people?

Rule of thumb Average earnings per impression for website AdSense or affiliate? $.01? .001? per page view?
For a blog or forum, how much can a page owner expect to earn via Google AdSense/Amazon affiliate or other affiliate program for each page view? For average? Semi-targeted ad… like most sites

Is it a penny to page view?

1/10 of penny per page view?

I’m hoping to get 1,000 page views per month and wondering what the Rule of Thumb is… there must be an average that people use?

Is it best to sign up for many affiliate marketers?
Okay, I definitely want to have Google Adsense. But on other websites I see they have links for “affiliate marketing” at the bottom of webpages. Can I put one of their ads on one of my webpages? And then on another one of my webpages have a different ad from a different affiliate marketer? Or do you have to put up several ads from each affiliate marketer?

As an affiliate marketer, you probably use PayPal to receive your payments from the companies (amazon for example). Go to amazon and print your Transaction History. (or Payments Received)

I’m not sure if this answers your question but if you are looking for a tracking program that affiliates can use to track their links and see which are generating sales etc. you may want to suggest to them this one…if this is not what you meant sorry for confussion..
