I am going to start over six companies. One company will import products from other countries and there will be different websites with different names devoted to the different types of products (All of these will be online stores). Also, there will be three or four different websites that will contain information about business start-ups, video uploads, etc. Should I go with a reseller account? Why is there such a difference between the disk and bandwidth space between shared hosting and reseller hosting? Also, how much space do you think I will need to host all of these? Building a website for someone with Host Gator?
I’m working on building a website for my friend’s business. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions before I get started.
Since I already have a HostGator account, I was going to purchase everything myself, set it up on my CPU and then bill my friend for the startup cost and my time. This way, when they need edits done I can do those easily. In the future, the administration of this site might be forwarded to my friend (so I’d have to transfer all the admin / password / info to them)…and probably figure some way to strike my credit card info from that.
