You could try setting up a website which is pretty self sufficient in its own way. Every user that signs up on your site needs to generate certain amount of content every week or month (as per your convenience). They could also get to earn a commission each month by selling your products and services for you (affiliate marketing). In this way you can capitalize on user generated collateral on the site to improve its visibility online. You can also get to leverage more passive income through this method.
Site auctions
There are plenty of sites which are being sold for paltry amounts, every single day. You can easily check on their page ranking and link densities. If they match upto your expectations go ahead and buy them. They'll work like an investment of sorts. You could get advertisers to place ads on these sites. With every click that happens you can earn a good commission from it. This is a great source of passive income. Another good option is to keep these websites for later use. In future when you see related keywords and topic shoot up in popularity, you can sell these sites at a huge price.

You could even try setting up your own affiliate marketing program. Get affiliate marketers to refer your products and services online. You just need to provide them the tools, training and resources. Then with each click watch the sales grow! In this manner, you don't have to put in much effort and you still get to receive good revenues each month!
Drop shipping
This is a procedure which does not require you to have any goods or inventory, poses little or no risk and still generates good income for you each month! A drop shipper is someone who has a supply of specific goods. The way it works is that you market and sell a product online. Once an order is placed by a customer and you get payment for it, you can contact the drop shipper to supply the goods to the buyer. The drop shipper will charge you the wholesale price of the product - which means you make a profit equal to the difference between the retail and wholesale price. This without even having the actual product in stock! However in order for drop shipping to really work as a passive income source, you need to contact a reputed supplier, sell goods which are in demand and can be bought in bulk.
EBay like stores
If you can manage to create and host a website, then the sky is the limit in terms of income potential! You can have an online store which works pretty much like eBay or other stores. Even if you don't have products of your own, you can still get advertisers to place their product listings on your site. This way with every sale that happens, you can earn a significant percentage of commission!
Your blog
You can also use your blog as a great way to generate passive income online. If your blog deals with current topics that are in demand, you can easily get advertisers with associated content to place their ads on your blog. That way with every click through to their site from your blog, you earn a commission. This way you earn good income each month (up to 4000 dollars) without lifting a finger!
Domain names
Another great way to make passive income online without much effort is through a little enterprising effort! You can purchase domain names which don't cost much. Then you can create dummy websites with these domain names and slowly build on their content and page ranking. Or else you can just keep the domain names for later. At a later stage you can easily sell these websites (which by now will be receiving tonnes of traffic), or sell the domain names by themselves. You will be amazed at the amount of money this will fetch you!

I’m considering routes to market for a fantastic software product that’s got some great clients already, but needs to find a larger-scale way of finding new customers.
It’s a software-as-a-service product which I think could work well for affiliate online marketing. But I’ve never used this approach myself before, does anyone have any tips for appointing affiliate marketers, any directories they can recommend, people they’ve used successfully before etc.?
As an affiliate manager I can tell you that there are many ways to find affiliates.
First of all you must target your research to affiliates that deal with the products you are trying to promote.
Once you have targeted your niche you can do:
1. Web intelligence: You can use several tools as whois.com or aboutus.com to find the owner of the affiliate site
2. Massive Recruitment: You can go to different forums and promote your affiliate program. (READ the rules of each forums they might ban you if you don’t follow them)
To recruit affiliates you need to have an organized system that will track, aid’s, orders, click’s and all the stats that you will need to clarify the affiliates status.
If your company has an online store they surely have a tracking system, you should ask.

How is affiliate marketing considered an online business?
How is a website with content that makes money from ads and affiliate products considered an “online business”? You can’t make business cards for your website, can you? Since you are not providing a service or product, but providing information, you can’t call yourself a CEO of your website, can you?
you only make any money from that if you have a website with CONTENT that will attract eyeballs who THEN might see the ads for the companies you have affiliate accts with – unless you are getting at least 1,000 visits a day to your website, you probably won’t make dollar one with affiliate programs
of course you can make business cards for your website, – if you have content there that you provide and update regularly, but if it is just a website with links on it for your affiliate programs, it’s not going to get any business
Since i am from india if i want to do affiliate marketing do i need an export import code?
hi there my CA is saying that i need impor export code for affiliate marketing coz i am exporting my services is that right also i am confused regarding that clickbank will be sending me cheques without any proof that i am there agent so my bank people are saying that if i recieve any money in another currency regularly i have to take impor export code and apart from that i have to prove that i am doing a legit busiess is it like that or they are not aware i am from udaipur (raj) people look so amazed here when i tell them about affiliate marketing online plz help.

Andy, information is not an import/export item, it’s just words that go from computer to computer and can be printed out and given away or stored.
It sounds like you are dealing with ignorance and that is the hardest of all mental states to deal with because that will take education and that is something you won’t have.
See what the people at the Indian Bank in Chicago can do to help you with the money deal. They deal with Indians all over America and I’m sure they can help you with your local bank, if you ask them right.
Another thing, Click Bank is not the best way to handle the money angle, PayPal will do better if you can use it with the affiliate company you’re with.
There are Affiliate marketers all over the world and over 2000 Affiliate companies in America alone, and unless you are importing or exporting physical products there should never be an import or export duty or tax that applies.
You have an unique problem and it’s called Ignorance. You live among people who just don’t know.
Try the Indian Bank in Chicago and see how they can help and if that doesn’t work maybe you can open an account there and have them send you Rupees instead of dollars, that you won’t have any problem spending in udaipur.

P.S. Just to clarify matters, you are not an agent of anyone, but you are an Independant Contractor and any money you make will be earned as a fee for selling online services and information, not goods of any kind. Just services and information.
If you will be expected to sell goods online then you may be creating a problem for yourself at home.
You will be selling Information and Services for an American Company on the Internet with customers all over the world. See what your bank says to that.
You can never be an Agent for any American MLM or Network Marketing Company, they only hire Independant Contractors, Independant Business people that are totally responsible for themselves and their own expenses and taxes ONLY! Never an agent.
If you told your bank you were to be an Agent, that could be the problem here. jdm
What’s the step-by-step process for making money online with Affiliate Marketing like ClickBank?
Having been exploring the internet marketing field for the last 10 years, I am still very frustrated not knowing how exactly to make money online with Affiliate Programs like ClickBank or Commission Junction that’s Affiliate Marketing.
Please, reply to me only in case you are already making tons of money as a Super Affiliate.
In addition, please do regard me as an absolute beginner to Affiliate Marketing as I have never ever made any money with Affiliate Marketing at all.
Obviously, the main reason I am interested in the Affiliate Marketing field is the fact that I still do not have my own products or services to sell.
What I have realized is that there is a huge amount of scepticism among many potential Affiliates (including myself) when it comes to the important question whether or how I as an ambitious Affiliate can trust the Merchant or how I can be assured that the Merchant will morally and honestly be paying to me (or into my PayPal account) every time I refer them to a customer who then buys the Merchant’s product from my Affiliate link.
Subsequently, my main questions are:
How to research into, find and then select a legitimate Affiliate Program?
How to make sure that the Mechant will really link my PayPal account correctly and properly, so that I know he or she is a genuine and professional person who won’t be cheating or stealing away my hardly earned commissions?
How and where can I create a simple web page (landing page or squueze page) with my affiliate link? Please, once again regard me as an absolute beginner and tell me the step by step process of how to set up or create my Affiliate web page as I really do not know how to.
How to ensure the necessary traffic of potential buyers to my Affiliate web site so that I really start seeing some concrete results that’s making money online? If it’s Pay Per Click that is a solution, please guide me step by step on how to create successful money making Google Adwords campaigns. Or, do you suggest anything better than PPC?
Once again, I am only interested to learn from experienced money making Affiliates and Super Affiliates who have been making lots of money from the Affiliate Programs that they have joined.
Please, do not try to sell me here any cheap ebooks or similar downloadable information products with hyped and long sales copies, because I won’t be wasting my money on these any longer.
