Want to Know How to Sell AVON, and Actually MAKE MONEY?
Author: Erica Dale
Well you are not alone!
Thousands, if not millions of people each year join AVON only to find that they try everything but still do not acquired the clientele they were promised. Most of these people then exhaust their resources of time and money trying to tread water until they are forced to throw in the towel and giving up on their dream of becoming the next AVON success story, attaining financial freedom and enjoying the fulfillment of knowing that "they did it".
I am here to ensure that you DO NOT become one of these people with a sad story of another failed attempt.
So why do the majority of AVON reps fail? Simple...they have outdated tools and techniques that are kept in practice because they benefit the company...not you, the representative. Here are the major selling tools that you have been told will get you to the top of the food chain that are in fact are the key reasons why so many fail:
- Many network marketers are taught to leverage their "warm market" for their business by selling to their friends and family. This is a huge waste of time and you are guaranteed to lose money in the long run. Why? First of all, most will be skeptical and refuse your offers as it will appear that you are trying to leverage a personal relationship for financial gain. Secondly, before you came along and told them about your products, they were not already interested. Spending time convincing someone of their need for your product is counterproductive. Besides, why waste your time on your "warm market" when there are millions of motivated prospects out there that would love to do business with you?
- Your upline may recommend that you buy Business Opportunity Leads. However, this is a sure-fire way to waste time and money because they cost too much! On average, each lead will cost you between & ! Realistically, you should never spend more than [POST CONTENT].15 -[POST CONTENT].20 per lead. Furthermore, business opportunity leads are not targeted enough. What usually happens is you will pay somewhere from - for a lead that IS interested in starting a home-based business but has absolutely no interest in your products. When this happens with 75% of your newly purchased leads, you have just wasted a very large amount of money.
- Throwing home parties are very popular right now and may seem like an excellent way to sell your product....well, think again. Throwing home parties are very costly in terms of money and time. And most of the time you will have too many no-shows to justify such a production. These days, there are so many home parties for every other business that people are simply tired of feeling obligated to attend and spend money to help out their friends and/or family. Besides, people are just plain busy and are not interested in spending their evenings and/or weekends supporting you and being enticed to purchase products they were not already interested in to begin with. This method of selling was a brilliant and effective idea back in the 60's & 70's. But in this day and age it is a sorry plan for consistently recruiting new clients and business builders into your business.
In this industry, things are not always as they seem. Really, there are only "insiders" and "outsiders", people who know the deal and people who don't have a clue. AVON is a fantastic company and the potential to reach the top IS THERE. But you must acquire the proper tools and techniques to succeed. And by all means, if you are interested in making money instead of throwing it away, please do not make these common mistakes as millions of others just like you have.

I’m trying to get my mother to sell cosmetics. Besides Avon, what other products can she sell?
Especially interested in beauty products. Avon offers flexibility and reliability and I’m looking into this but what other cosmetics can she sell via catalogs, for example?
Do the AVON stores sell Mark cosmetics?
I’ve just heard about the mark brand of cosmetics that Avon sells. Can this line be bought in stores?
Thanks!
If you have an Avon Beauty Center in your area, definitely check it out to see if they have mark. The one by me does.
They may not carry all of the products though, and the Avon reps are not usually all that informed about mark.

Can you possible make a good income selling Avon cosmetics?
I got asked today if i wanted to sell avon cosmetics.
i think i might do it since im starting college in march and my normal work hours will be cut down alot. i am really good with sales, and makeup might be one of my biiggest hobbies.
but do you know anyone or of somebody who sells avon/mark cosmetics? do they like it? how much money do they get for the amount they work for it?
I have been a rep for 3 years now and can honestly say that I am able to make a good part time income from it. I also go to college full time so do expect that my money will also be able to pay off my student loans, they also offer yearly scholarships to us representatives. I make an average of 350.00 every two weeks which is a great part time income for me since I do not do Avon full time right now.

How many of women sell Avon products, cosmetics? Is it profitable.?
I am thinking of selling Avon at my home online. But I am not sure how to get started or how much it will cost to get started. I’d like to know how much you can make per week or annually.
Thank you for your feedback.
Avon has created a 2nd income for my Avon lady. I would sell myself, but my job would not allow me time to do it. She is doing great.
