    Selling avon?
Ok I have a few questions about selling avon.
    1. how old do you have to be?
    2. is there a start up cost?
    3. how do you become an avon reresentative (i think thats what the sellers are called?)

I think you have to be either 16 or 18.. probably 18. There is a start up cost of something like 30- 50$, plus you have to pay for all of your own books every month, any samples you want, etc. To become a rep you can either talk to a rep you know and go through them or go to the Avon website. You should know that before becoming a rep, you should find out from friends, family and neighbours if they will be interested in buying Avon because it’s really crappy when it turns out that either everyone who likes it has a rep or people don’t like Avon.

How much money would you probably get selling avon products and how old do you have to be to sell them?
I live in Australia and I absolutely love Avon make up and I was wondering how much money I were to make if I started selling ‘Avon’ products? Also do you have to be 18 or over?
I’m wondering, I’m moving to Gold Coast, Queensland when I am 18 or 19 with my best friend.
I am planning on being a bartender but was wondering if maybe selling Avon would be better, or selling Avon on the side. Can you please let me know? Thanks! :) x

I don’t live in Australia, so I’m not sure what the age requirement is over there. I’m fairly certain you can sell it once you’re 18, though. As far as profits go, you really have to have at least a few customers or else it’s not worth it. I’d do it on the side, in addition to whatever steady job you end up getting. Don’t plan on supporting yourself with Avon, even if it ends up being a great second income. But I say it’s worth a try, because it might go really well for you :)

Hello, Where are you from. I am from Niceville Forida and I am a Advanced Unit Leader with AVON. I work AVON as a full time job and I have a seven year old. The best advice I can give you is to make sure that you have a great upline because support is very important. You also have to work AVON like a bussiness, get up everydy and punch your own time clock. AVON is a lot of work in the beginning to make a good income but also very rewarding. AVON leadership is where the money is. Feel free to contact me thru my website at http://www.youravon.com/rmorell

    Selling AVON……?
I see avon stores and cars sporting quaint door magnets displaying AVON. I am currently a stay at home mom with not much to do right now. I make jewelry but very little because I have no real place to sale, unless I go to a craft show and that gets expensive. I have thought about selling avon for a while but just never called a rep around here. So I came on here to see what do you think about it? Is it worth selling? I know its a lot of getting out there and doing the sales. Maybe someone can help me on this.

Personally for me it has been worth while. I am able to make $250 every 2 weeks in addition to my full time income.

Not sure if you are aware but now you can sign up to become a representative online plus it is only $10 to get started and with all the support that is available out there you should be able to make a great income.

If you do happen to be interested and are ready to get started just go to my website and hit the Become a Representative link so that I could email you online application website.

Hope that helped answer your question!

    Selling Avon?
I’ve recently been very interested in selling Avon and today I’m meeting the District Sales Manager in my area about starting. For some reason, I’m kind of nervous. I was just wondered what I should expect today. I know about the $10 start up fee so besides that what else will she go over with me? Is it difficult to start up? Can anyone willing to put in the time sell successfully? Is there anyone who can’t sell avon?

There was a girl who I did some babysitting for. She was an avon rep. I would take a book to school with me about once a month (High School) and the girls would always ask to order stuff. There were times when I would sell around $500 worth of stuff, just by leaving the book out on my desk during class.

So, if you know some high school kids, and trust them, ask them to take the book to school with them. They won’t always get $500 but even the month’s that only get $50 orders add up.

Always pay for the extra samples to put into the bags of those who buy stuff. People from high school frequently bought some of the stuff that was given away as a sample

Good Luck…..if you can create a website and start myspace and get all of your freinds on it……….make sure you have it advertised on your myspace site that you sell avon.
