where can i get Avon’s products??
Is there any other way I could get Avon’s products other than online. I don’t know anyone who sells avon in my area, so I was wondering if I could get them at a store or somewhere else??
I know that from anavon rep. but I don’t know one!!!

You just need to go to Avon.com and click on the link that says find a representative. All you have to do is put in your address and they will find someone for you.

Our products are mostly either sold online or directly from a rep! Good luck.

what other companies besides Avon can you be a rep for?
and what age do you have to be, Im interested in selling Avon but i know a lot of people in my area who sell it so are there any other businesses like that. Ive heard of tastefully simple. . . but it’s a party type business.

Mary Kay is another well-known cosmetic company.

Cutco, they make knives, scissors for kitchens, is also a company that uses people working from home as their sales force.

The Pampered Chef is another kitchen based company that a lot of people know of. They distribute knives (like Cutco), but also provide other kitchen items like grease absorbers and sharpeners and peelers.

Usually these places require you to be 18 or older, as you have to go to other peoples’ houses and if you aren’t an “adult,” that would require supervision.

How much money can you make selling avon?
I am currently a college student and need a source of income that goes perfectly with my schedule. I would love input from people who actually sell avon. But I love makeup and beauty products and feel that I am very knowledgeable in those areas. I am also willing to be devoted to selling whenever I am not in school. I need advice! thanks :)

    1. Independent Avon Rep.

I have helped well over 50 people start selling Avon and the most successful ones take it serious and are patient enough to let their Avon business grow. I worked a booth at a fair with one new Rep I signed up and she found several new customers that way. Others do fund raisers to increase sales and find new customers. I have found that many people are searching for an Avon Rep(even though there are many out there, not too many good ones) and if I find it easy to sell, I’m sure you will too.
You may like this info too:
We buy the Avon books, here are the prices:
      1 10 brochures $5.75
      2 20 brochures $7.95
      3 30 brochures $10.20
      4 40 brochures $12.10
      5 50 brochures $13.00
      6 60 brochures $14.25
      7 70 brochures $15.45
      8 80 brochures $16.75
      9 90 brochures $17.90
      10 100 brochures $19.0

Most want to know how much Avon reps. make:
As a new Rep you make 40% off your first 4 campaigns(about 2 months time) if the orders are $50 or larger and you submit them online. After that here is what we can make:
      Order Size Earnings
      $1550 or more 50%
      $900 – $1549 45%
      $425 – $899 40%
      $285 – $424 35%
      $145 – $284 30%
      $25 – $144 20%
      $00 – $24 0%
Licensed products are earned at 20% commission.(like clothing or household goods)

You can also sell Avon online as an eRep. As an Avon Rep, you also sell Mark.

Is it better to sell Avon or Mary Kay?
I like Mary Kay makeup better than Avon. But Avon has some good stuff too. It seems as far as selling goes, Mary Kay has more terms and conditions for its sellers. I’m not sure I could keep up with all that. But there are tons of Avon reps in my area so I don’t really know who to sell to. Which one is easier to sell?

avon is the number one direct sales company worldwide, and has been around for over 120 years. what does that tell you?

avon has not only skin care and cosmetics, but perfume, hair care, jewelry, purses, shoes, home decor, everything. you don’t limit yourself to one or two types of products, and everyone has heard of avon. their items normally go on sale, so you can easily attract new customers. avon sells more lipsticks than any other brand every year!

there are no quotas with avon. you can make 20-50% commission. only $10 to start!

Questions for new Avon representatives (less than 3 months)?
Ok, so I’ve been considering taking on a little side business for a few months now, and I saw an Avon commercial advertising all of the reasons Avon would be a great thing to do- whether on the side or full time. Now I know each company is going to talk up its own company and products, but the more I think about it the more I think doing Avon would be pretty good for me. I have some questions for other women who have just recently begun selling Avon.

I’m 25, in college full time, and I also work an 8-5 job, but only part time. That’s my basic information.

The Avon website said that the startup fees were minimal, so my first question is, what are the startup fees?

Also, if you don’t mind, please give me a rough estimate of about what you make per week or month and how active you are as a representative.

Also please tell me how long you’ve been selling, and whether you think it would be a good thing for someone like myself to get started with.

Also, does it cost extra to maintain a website so that customers can order online?

And, is there a way you can find out if there is another representative in your area? Because I wouldn’t want to start selling to find out that many women who order Avon in this area already have a rep they go through.

Another question I have is, how do you market, and what do you do when the orders come in? Do you deliver them yourself, or do you just call customers and let them know their orders are in?

Any additional info you can provide would be great. Please be honest but objective. All information would be helpful. While I would appreciate information from veteran reps too, I am mostly interested in what the newer reps have to say because things change so often. Serious answers only please.

    Thank you in advance!

I’ve been a Avon rep for around 7months and it is really good. You work when you want and decided how often you go out
I didnt have any start up costs as I was given my first 20 brouchers for free.

Avon have a rep that is in charge of each area and they will give you a designated area so you know that is your patch and no one else is working it. Even though I had a bit of a problem when I first started. a rep in my area was working a patch that wasnt hers and when it was given to me we were both working it. I contacted my area rep and she sorted it but the customers still didnt want to buy from me as they were used to her. The area reps are very helpfull though

You take your brouchers round to the houses in your area then you can either call round to collect them ( this is best then you can use them again if needed as you have to pay for your brouchers) or they can send an email with theire order to you or phone. a lot of younger peple tend to text me with theirs.

There is a magazine called Hello Tomorrow that all reps get and you can buy Demo products cheaply. This is how you build up your customers by demonstraiting them. Hold Avon parties. and use the products yourself. That is the best advertisment!

The amount of money you make depends on the amount of work you put in and amont of orders you recieve so it is worth puting a bit of effort into it.

Im a full time student and I also have a part time job and found it hard to make it all work but now ive got in to a routine it great. I go out on Mondays and fridays after uni, usally 6pm when people are home from work but arent eating their dinner or engrosed in their tv!!

and also the products are great to use yourself!

      Hope this helps!!
